I’m so grateful to CNM for my solid nutrition training
Pooja Jaiswal , Nutrition Graduate
After looking at numerous courses, I chose CNM’s Naturopathic Nutrition Diploma as I was impressed by its in-depth curriculum. I love my job; I’m eternally grateful to CNM for the solid foundation in nutrition that it’s given me.
The extensive study notes helped me start my practice
The first year of CNM’s Naturopathic Nutrition Diploma was all about Biomedicine and understanding the basic physiology of the body; this was before nutrition was even discussed. During the second year, we delved into nutrition which was fascinating. I’m so grateful to Gemma Hurditch (the lecturer) for guiding me through it. I have huge files with extensive notes; I still refer back to these and they have been fundamental to starting my practice.
My fertility journey steered me on a new path
After struggling with infertility for seven years, I was able address my fertility issues with dietary changes, yoga and breathwork. Seeing the changes in myself made me want to pursue nutrition as a career – it was my inner calling. I went from being a banker to a nutritionist, helping women with fertility issues. I’d had such an arduous infertility journey, running from doctor to doctor and countless fertility treatments, it made me want to assist other women going through the same. I wanted to help women improve their fertility without needing to have invasive procedures.
I now run a women’s initiative in India
I now run an initiative called Women Wellness First in India where I work with women who have hormonal issues like PCOS, PMS, endometriosis and infertility. I also share natural ways of healing on my YouTube and Instagram channels. For me, healing begins in the gut and what we put on our plate three times a day governs how we keep dis-ease at bay and truly heal from within.
