Turmeric Roasted Cashew Nuts

Servings: 10 nuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw unsalted cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp raw organic cold pressed coconut oil
  • 1 tsp organic turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch himalayan pink salt (fine)
  • 1 tsp coarse black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 120-150C
  • Melt coconut oil in a baking dish
  • Add cashew nuts, turmeric, Himalayan salt and black pepper to melted oil and mix well
  • Roast in oven for approximately 10 mins
  • Remove from oven and mix
  • Return to oven for another 10-15 mins
  • Cool completely. Can be stored in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks
